Referral Programme Terms

Terms governing your participation in the MyCareerMate Referral Programme.

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Programme Overview

The MyCareerMate Referral Programme ("Programme") allows eligible users to earn a recurring commission by referring new paying subscribers to MyCareerMate. The Programme is operated by Ishaan Manga (ABN 56 700 763 174).

By participating, you agree to these Referral Programme Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Programme you must:

  • Be a current paying subscriber (Starter, Pro, or Premium plan).
  • Have an account in good standing — not suspended, flagged for fraud, or under investigation.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding referral programmes and affiliate marketing in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to determine eligibility and remove any user from the Programme at any time.

3. How the Programme Works

3.1 Your Referral Link & Code

Once eligible, you will be issued a unique referral code and link via your Refer & Earn dashboard. You may share this through any lawful channel — social media, content creation, email, or word of mouth.

3.2 Referee Discount

When someone subscribes using your referral code, they receive a 20% discount on their first payment, applied automatically at checkout.

3.3 Commission Structure

  • You earn 20% of every payment made by each user you successfully refer, for as long as they remain a paying subscriber.
  • Commissions are calculated on the amount actually charged to the referee (after any discount).
  • Commissions apply to both monthly and 3-month subscription payments.
  • Commissions are credited to your Programme balance after each qualifying payment event.

4. Commission Hold Period

  • All commissions enter a 30-day hold period after the qualifying payment event.
  • The hold period accounts for potential refunds, chargebacks, and fraud review.
  • After 30 days, commissions automatically move to "Available" status when you visit your dashboard.
  • Commissions will not be promoted to Available if the associated referee has been refunded, charged back, or flagged for fraud.

5. Withdrawals

  • You may request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time via the Refer & Earn dashboard.
  • There is no minimum withdrawal amount.
  • Withdrawal requests are processed within 3–5 business days.
  • Our team will contact you at your account email to arrange payment details for each withdrawal.
  • We reserve the right to request identity verification before processing any withdrawal.
  • Withdrawals will not be processed to accounts under fraud investigation.

6. Active Referral Cap

You may have a maximum of 100 active referrals at any one time. An "active referral" is a referee with an active paying subscription linked to your code.

If you reach the cap, new users who attempt to apply your code will receive an error until a slot opens.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct will result in immediate removal from the Programme, forfeiture of unpaid commissions, and potential account termination:

  • Self-referrals: using your own referral code on your own account (primary or alternate). We verify via email, IP address, and device fingerprint.
  • Fake referrals: creating fake accounts or using temporary email addresses to generate artificial referrals.
  • Misleading promotion: making false or misleading claims about MyCareerMate.
  • Spam: unsolicited mass emails or bulk communications to promote your referral link.
  • Paid advertising using our brand: running paid ads using "MyCareerMate" or similar brand terms without prior written consent.
  • Incentivised sign-ups: offering cash, gift cards, or other incentives beyond what the Programme itself provides.
  • System manipulation: attempting to exploit the Programme mechanics in any way not intended.

8. Tax Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes applicable to commissions you earn through the Programme in your jurisdiction.

MyCareerMate does not withhold tax on commission payments. We may request tax information from you where required by law.

9. Programme Changes & Termination

  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Programme at any time with reasonable notice.
  • If we terminate the Programme, Available commissions at the time of termination will be paid out. Commissions still in the hold period may be forfeited.
  • Changes to commission rates apply to future qualifying payments only, not retroactively.

10. Governing Law

These Referral Programme Terms are governed by applicable laws.
